Dr. Lisa Leavitt is a counseling psychologist at Excel Psychology, specializing in psychological and learning assessments for children and adults. She also has extensive experience in trauma recovery, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support for women and children.

Dr. Leavitt has worked for more than 20 years in university and private practice settings. She loves the small part she gets to play in helping clients gain a better understanding of how they function and the positive impact that information can have as they strive to make changes in their lives.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Leavitt enjoys crafting, baking (especially sourdough bread), reading, watching British mysteries, traveling, and spending time with her large extended family.
